Pernod Ricard are the world's second largest wine and spirits seller, with brands including Absolut Vodka, Chivas Regal and Havana Club.
To build advocacy within the global bartender community, in 2013 they launched 'Maison', an innovative iPad-based training programme.
Maison provided detailed training on 10 major drinks categories, each introduced and led by category experts and utilising a diverse range of user interfaces, film, animations and interactive assets to tell their story.
I was the senior designer on the project over a 12-month period, designing and directing everything from 3D animations of the whisky distillation process to on-location film shoots, in as far flung places as the agave fields of Mexico.
One of the key challenges that we successfully navigated was how to creatively utilise the iPad technology which, at the time, was still in it’s early stages.
