Leith Links is a large public park at the heart of one of Scotland's fastest-growing communities.
In 2021, the local community was invited to submit ideas for reimagining a derelict bowling green in the park.
In response, a small group of us came together to develop a vision for an activity park on the site. A space bringing together a variety of sport, play and leisure facilities.
We developed a ‘what if?’ visual and launched a campaign to bring the vision to life.
Five years on, the activity park forms the centrepiece of the Leith Links masterplan, with £4 million of funding secured towards its delivery and detailed designs now well underway.
